At this time of year we all tend to feel stressed, just after Christmas when there is that feeling of getting back to ‘normal’ again. And then we have had to cope with the winter weather which has been really challenging, it is not surprising that we are feeling stressed is it? There is a reason that we feel stressed, and it is because our mind and body is actually trying to protect us, and that stressed irritable feeling is the body telling us that we might need to make some changes in our lives. Have you noticed how much better you feel when you have made a positive change in your life, how good does it then feel knowing that you can start to feel calm again. Like most things in life we can get better at something when we practice at it, just as you can ‘practice’ how to feel calm, relaxed and in control, even when others around you are often seen rushing about getting stressed themselves.
